Webba’s 4 Mijl van Emmen.

It’s the day after the 4 Mijl van Emmen. With almost 4,000 runners in a packed Emmen, the 2nd edition went incredibly well. Our own runners are only dealing with healthy muscle soreness. ”Luckily we have desk jobs…”.

For us, this event going so successfully is extra special because we’re so closely involved with the organisers, Dennis Blaak and Richard Klein. It was fantastic to see how they sought each other out after the first runner crossed the finish line. As a proud sponsor we’re of course only a small part of the 4 Mijl van Emmen, yet it also feels a little like our own baby. Fortunately we don’t fall into a black hole after this day. The gentlemen are already busy with the next events!

A great day

It was a particularly great day to cover 6.4 kilometres. Our 9 keen runners all did just that and each set a great time. The day was rounded off in style. A delegation from Webba enjoyed a culinary treat at Hotel ten Cate. This too was excellently arranged by the gentlemen. In fact, everything from start to finish was thought through by them, and we couldn’t catch them out on a single mistake.
